“We never lost our heritage, we never lost our Judaism,” explains Kasa Bainesay-Harbor, an Israeli diplomat who represents the Jewish state in Miami, Florida and previously served as Deputy Ambassador to New Zealand.
Bainesay-Harbor grew up in a small village in Ethiopia, but was able to make aliyah with her family when the State of Israel launched its daring mission to bring thousands of Jews from the African nation home to the Holy Land.
