An Israeli event provided children confined to wheelchairs a chance to feel the wind in the hair as they cruised through a race course in specially designed electric go-carts.
Lack of mobility is one of a host of challenges with which severely disabled children struggle everyday. Many of them just want to feel like normal kids, playing with friends, riding bicycles, or even racing go-karts.
That’s why a few hundred people joined together for a special road rally for severely disabled Israeli children in which the kids got the chance to drive their own custom-built go-karts created by an amazing team of volunteers.
