A Jerusalem-based jewelry company fabricated the world’s most expensive coronavirus mask with a price tag of $1.5 million!
An 18-karat white-gold mask is decorated with 3,600 white and black diamonds and fitted with top-rated N99 filters at the request of the buyer, said Isaac Levy of Israel’s award-winning Yvel Design Center.
Levy said the buyer was a Chinese businessman living in the United States who will probably wear it from time to time.
Although such a mask seems inappropriate at a time when so many people are suffering financially due to the pandemic, Levy said he was “proud” to have had the opportunity to “provide so much work to so many people who desperately need these jobs in these challenging times.”
