With a rise in deadly racist attacks in the US, members of Milwaukee’s faith community are learning from Israelis how to defend themselves.

In the wake of numerous threats to religious organizations in the US, members of Milwaukee’s faith community learned from Israelis how to save lives if they ever find themselves in worst-case scenarios, particularly following a violent attack, Fox News reports.

The instructors for the multi-day course last week had worked as paramedics in Israel for Magen David Adom.

Roughly 50 faith-based organizations from across the Milwaukee area participated in the course, and more than 150 people graduated.
