Israeli singer Mayer Malik travels from IDF base to base singing for soldiers just released from Gaza or on their to the battlefield. His music inspires the soldiers with much-needed enthusiasm and escapes from the harsh reality of war.
Malik also fundraises for vital equipment and supplies that reservists sometimes don’t have. He also directs fellow musicians to play for other bases to spread love and unity as far as he can.
Mayer’s selfless actions reflect the overwhelming unity shared by Israelis in this trying time of war and uncertainty.
