Israel’s exotic resort town Eilat boasts world-class beaches, incredible scuba diving, and five-star hotels, attracting visitors from across the globe.

While the New York Times has difficulty admitting that Israel does anything right, its travel writers apparently can’t get enough of the Jewish state’s “Red Sea paradise,” Eilat. Among Eilat’s key features are Coral Beach Nature Reserve’s underwater trails full of fish and other sea life, and a glass-enclosed observation center offshore.

The newspaper voted Eilat its sixth best destination in the world, beating out Las Vegas and New York City, among other traditional favorites.

With a brand new airport serving the breathtaking seaside resort town, Eilat is poised to become the “it” vacation destination for discerning travelers.
