Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat expresses gratitude to the US president for “standing with Israel and standing with the truth.”
On Monday, Donald Trump made history as the first American president to move the US Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, the eternal capital of the Jewish state.
Following that courageous move, Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat issued a statement of appreciation to Trump for bringing the US embassy to its rightful home.
As Barkat explains, this should bring a chain reaction, as other countries are now following suit.
Barkat also predicts a wonderful future for Jerusalem under leadership of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as the city returns to its former glory.
