“I’m feeling safe when you are near me,” a Muslim civilian told his Jewish neighbor, an emergency medical responder.
Josh, a Jewish volunteer for United Hatzalah, an emergency medical-services organization, saved his Muslim next-door neighbor Munir during a stabbing attack.
They live in Ma’ale Hazetim, a predominantly Muslim neighborhood in eastern Jerusalem.
In the video, Munir tells what happened in the incident and says he feels safe having Josh nearby.
Watch and learn about their good relations. Indeed, as Munir says, what’s important isn’t the national or religious identity, but that we are all human beings.
