Although Jews only make up 2.2% of US population, they were targeted with nearly 60% of religiously-biased hate crimes, according to an FBI report.
That’s more hate crimes than Hispanics, Muslims or Asians.
Only attacks against blacks or LGBT exceeded attacks on Jews in 2020.
The real numbers may be even higher, as the FBI’s figures were based voluntary self-reporting by local and state law enforcement agencies.
