“Jordan has always been the homeland of the Palestinians,” Palestinian-Jordanian activist Mudar Zahran said in an interview shared by Rabbi Pinchas Taylor.

Explaining that the territory of Jordan was formed out of Mandatory Palestine, all of which was originally designated for a Jewish national home under the Balfour Declaration, Zahran said that “Jordan has always been Palestine. The only thing that is not Palestinian in Jordan is the king.”

“If that falls to the ‘Arab Spring,’ voila, we have a Palestinian state.”
