A young boy has a dream that he wakes up on the morning of Tisha b’Av and discovers the possibility of a better world, where peace and joy fill the streets of Jerusalem.

Tisha b’Av – the ninth day of the Hebrew month of Av – is a day of mourning for the Jewish People. The First and Second Temples were both destroyed on that date, and Jews around the world fast and pray for the rebuilding of the Holy Temple, which, as the Prophets say, will be “a house of prayer for all nations.”

According to Jewish thought, Jewish unity and brotherhood is the key to turning this wonderful dream into reality, when Tisha b’Av will become a day of joy and celebration.

In this video, created by The Temple Institute, a young boy has a dream, where he wakes up on the morning of Tisha b’Av and discovers the possibility of a better world, one in which the Holy Temple has been reestablished and peace and happiness fills our lives. Let’s do our part to make his dream a reality!
