Bereaved mother Ayelet Samerano, whose son, Yonatan, was murdered by Hamas terrorists on October 7, his body seized by an UNRWA employee and taken to Gaza, protested in Lausanne, Switzerland after UNRWA head Philippe Lazzarini was invited to be a keynote speaker at a National Day ceremony.
“UNRWA is Hamas and Hamas is UNRWA – they are one and the same,” Ayelet said, asking how the UN could turn a blind eye to the atrocities committed by UNRWA employees.
“Shut UNRWA down,” she concluded emphatically.
