Saturday Night Live’s Michael Che was accused of anti-Semitism again, this time for a “joke” based on the false premise that Israel only vaccinates Jewish citizens against coronavirus.
NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” is facing another round of anti-Semitism accusations, which again focus on a “joke” delivered by Michael Che.
Che found himself in hot water last time for a joke with the punchline that the winner of a “Miss Hitler” contest was “Miss Israel.”
This time, Che delivered a “joke” that Israel only vaccinates its Jewish citizens against coronavirus, parroting anti-Israel propaganda that has been repeated by media outlets falsely claiming that Israel has refused to vaccinate non-Jews.
In reality, all Israeli citizens over the age of 16 are eligible for the coronavirus vaccine, regardless of religion, ethnicity, or national origin. Israel has even vaccinated asylum seekers and foreign workers, none of whom are citizens and most of whom are not Jewish.
