Speaking to a reserve combat officers’ course in Gush Etzion, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel must reduce its reliance on foreign military aid and develop its own independent arms industry. While expressing appreciation for U.S. support, he argued that Israel’s long-term security depends on expanding domestic weapons production, technology, and military leadership.
