After the Palestinian chief rejected the U.S.’ plan for peace in front of the UN, Israeli envoy Danny Danon identified Abbas as the real obstacle to peace.

After Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas ranted against the the Trump administration’s Mideast peace plan on Tuesday at the U.N. Security Council, Israel’s Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon injected some reality into the proceedings.

“Only when he steps down can Israel and the Palestinians move forward,” Danon said. “A leader who chooses rejectionism, incitement and glorification of terror can never be a real partner for peace.”

It’s unclear whether members of the biased international organization are ready for the truth, but it does appear that Abbas-proposed resolution blasting the Trump plan would fail tto garner he minimum number of “yes” votes for approval at the UN.
