Denial is a real problem for certain elements in Palestinian society, who want to ignore thousands of years of history, international law, and incontrovertible facts on the ground.
Take, for example, Mazen Al-Dunbuk who wants to distribute maps to Palestinian schools that pretend Israel doesn’t exist.
“This is how we want Palestine,” explains Al-Dunbuk. Reality beckons, Mazen. Israel isn’t going anywhere.
