British writer and journalist Douglas Murray presented the amended Palestinian Prisoners Law of 2004 to Mustafa Barghouti, a PA official.
Signed into law by current Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, the law declares anyone imprisoned for ‘struggling against the occupation’ will receive a damage-dependent salary.
In 2018 the PA allocated $190 million to families of terrorists or freedom fighters as Mustafa Barghouti calls them. The fund includes money given by taxes from European countries to help the PA.
The implicitness of the PA is unavoidable and cannot be hidden, the funding of terrorism needs to be stopped.
