Two Israelis were stabbed in a terror attack in the vicinity of Netanya’s central market on Thursday evening. Security cameras recorded the attack.

In the second terror attack of the day, two Israelis were stabbed and wounded. One of the victims, an ultra-Orthodox Israeli man approximately 30 years old, is in moderate condition and is receiving medical treatment. The other, a woman approximately 62, has light wounds.

The stabber has been shot and killed.

The attack took place simultaneously with the funeral of Hallel Ariel, a 13-year-old Israeli girl murdered earlier on Thursday after a Palestinian terrorist broke into her home in Kiryat Arba, near Hebron, and stabbed her to death while she slept.

Security cameras recorded the stabbing attack below.

The police said that the terrorist in Netanya was a resident from the Palestinian city of Tulkarm.

“A civilian at the scene saw what was happening and shot the suspect, killing him,” the police announced.

A witness, Yaakov Pesto, told Israel’s Channel 10 that he saw two terrorists. “One of them pulled out a knife, and they were both screaming ‘Allahu Akbar.’ Then one of them first attacked the ultra-Orthodox man, then the elderly woman,” Pesto said. “Then a guy armed with a gun shot him point blank, five bullets.”

Officials have not yet confirmed the existence of a second terrorist at the scene.

Erez Engel, a paramedic with the Magen David Adom who treated the wounded, described arriving on the scene as a man with stab wounds “lay on the sidewalk, stabbed in his upper body as civilians were stopping the bleeding. As we treated him and were quickly putting him in the vehicle for intensive care they brought an injured woman out of the market, approximately 62 years old, fully conscious and also suffering from a stab wound in her upper body.”

A spokesman for the Laniado Hospital in Netanya confirmed that two victims, one stabbed in the chest and the other in the back, were brought to the hospital. Both victims are conscious and communicating.
