During Mike Pompeo’s recent visit to Israel, Palestinians gathered in Shechem to show their contempt for the American diplomat.
While Mike Pompeo met with Israel leaders in Jerusalem to discuss the coronavirus pandemic and the Iranian threat, Palestinians in Shechem burned an effigy of the U.S. Secretary of State.
The clip was circulated by the London-Based Al-Araby Al-Jadeed website following the incident.
The Palestinian Authority has maintained a near complete boycott of the Trump administration since December 2017 and anti-U.S. demonstrations remain popular among the Palestinian public.
