Despite the fact that Muslim countries increasingly seek peace with the Jewish state, the Palestinian leaders claim they can’t make an agreement because Israel is the “enemy of Muhammad.”
Mahmoud Al-Habbash, Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas’s adviser on religious and Islamic affairs, said in an interview on PA TV that that diplomatic relations with Israel is “treason” and that the Palestinians will continue to fight, even if they are all slaughtered.
He referred to Israel as the “enemy of Muhammad,” the founder of the Islamic faith.
With a number of Muslims countries signing peace treaties with Israel, why are Palestinian leaders continuing to pursue their dubious claims of “holy war.”
