“There’s nothing shameful about peace…once we get what is ours,” a Lebanese journalist said in a TV interview.
Hosted on Lebanese TV earlier this month, Lebanese journalist and political analyst Raghida Dergham said that peace is not shameful and that she supports it, once the borders are demarcated.
European countries were “more savage” than Arab countries, yet they were able to reach peace among each other, she said.
“We wish for the day that Jerusalem is returned to the Palestinians, but this will not happen,” she added, despite the fact that never in history was Jerusalem a Palestinian city.
