From lone soldier mothers to elderly grandfathers, volunteers from all over the globe came to Israel to help with the war effort and contribute in any way they could.
Countless people signed up to help through Sar-El, an offshoot of the IDF. Volunteers prepare Shabbat meals and packages for soldiers in Gaza while some fill boxes filled with sweets and snacks for soldiers serving up north.
Some mothers couldn’t contain their emotions while preparing these care packages, saying some of them could end up going to their sons. The spirit and love displayed by these volunteers are a real inspiration and show what people can do when united for a cause.
