US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo spoke Monday at the Heritage Foundation, a Washington-based think tank, where he introduced new and tougher US policy regarding Iran and its rogue regime.
The leaders of Tehran will have no doubt about America’s seriousness in curtailing the Islamic Republic’s aggression in the Middle East and, in particular, its nuclear program, Pompeo stated.
They should understand that the US withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal is just the beginning, he said, adding that the US will impose the strongest sanctions in history if necessary.
