On Tuesday, the IDF rescued Qaid Farhan Alkadi from a Gaza tunnel after almost 11 months in captivity.
Alkadi was greeted at the hospital by an overjoyed family who prayed for his return and received a call from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
According to reports, Alkadi was not given gentler treatment by his fellow Muslims but as a hostage was treated “like an Israeli” and was kept with Israeli captives, one of whom died by his side.
