A bi-partisan resolution, advanced by Republican Senators Ted Cruz and Tim Kaine, passed Thursday evening at the US Senate condemning all forms of anti-Semitism.

A bi-partisan resolution that passed Thursday evening in the Senate, condemning all forms of anti-Semitism, acknowledges prejudices experienced by Jews throughout history and the world over, including in the U.S., Republican Senator Ted Cruz (Texas), a co-sponsor of the resolution, declared.

A second resolution on anti-Semitism also was passed the same evening. Put forward by Democratic Senators Kamala D. Harris and Dianne Feinstein, it calls for the recent shooting attack at the Chabad of Poway synagogue.

Anti-Semitism is a “unique prejudice with a unique history that has led to unique horrors,” Cruz said. Watch and listen to his full statement.
