In his recent interview, Joe Lieberman criticized Chuck Schumer for his anti-Netanyahu speech, calling it unprecedented.
Lieberman, who shares Schumer’s Jewish background, disagreed with those who praised Schumer’s remarks as courageous, suggesting it exploited their friendship rather than showing bravery.
He highlighted the inconsistency in Schumer’s stance and questioned if he would similarly interfere in other allied nations’ leadership matters, stressing that Schumer’s comments crossed a diplomatic line, especially considering the overwhelming support Netanyahu holds among Israeli citizens in combating Hamas.
