In a video broadcast of Friday prayers, Shari’ah Judge Nasser Al-Qirem delivers a sermon at a mosque in Surda, northeast of Ramallah, lauding martyrdom as a divine appointment by Allah.
He emphasizes that those who become martyrs in confrontations do so by Allah’s arrangement, stating, “He chose Martyrdom, and Almighty Allah chose him.”
This rhetoric reinforces the Palestinian Authority’s narrative that terrorist murderers are revered as “Martyrs” fulfilling Islam’s divine will, perpetuating a dangerous glorification of violence.
