Austrian Minister for the EU Karoline Edtstadler is working hard to force social media giants like TikTok to stop spreading vile anti-Semitic videos that mock the Holocaust.
TikTok is a China-based social network popular among teens around the world that has let users spread videos with extreme anti-Semitism, from glorifying Palestinian terrorism to jokes about Nazi concentration camps during the Holocaust.
In one recent viral video, a song plays with the chorus “we’re going on a trip to Auschwitz, it’s time for a shower.” Images of a swastika-clad robot killing people accompany the disgusting music.
Austrian Federal Minister for the EU Karoline Edtstadler condemned such violent content and is pushing for regulations to prevent such social media content from being disseminated to impressionable youth.
