Although the current conflict raging in southern and northern Israel has had devastating consequences, organizations and selfless volunteers such as Smiles For the Kids are trying to lessen the pain and uncertainty for those affected.
The war has impacted thousands of families, with many across Israel needing to evacuate their homes for the last seven months or have experienced devastating losses on Oct. 7th and after.
The organization offers an escape from the high-stress world many of these families constantly live in, with activities for children to rebuild self-confidence, and resilience, and express themselves away from home and regular schooling.
