On Oct. 7th thousands of terrorists swarmed the Gaza border and invaded southern Israel. One of the first places overrun was an IDF base located near Nahal Oz, a kibbutz also massacred on that fateful day.
Communications at the base were totaled as Hamas destroyed lookout posts and cameras. The soldiers killed as many terrorists as they could, but some heroes fell in the battle for Nahal Oz base.
The soldiers returning to the scene of such intense experiences spoke about their courageous attempts at killing the terrorists, saving each other, and protecting the Jewish state.
