In honor of Israel’s 70th anniversary, communities around the world united to sing the Jewish state’s national anthem, “Hativka.”
“Hativkah,” which meanings “the hope,” is Israel national anthem, expressing the 2,000-year-old Jewish longing to return to the Land of Israel, rebuild it, and live as a self-governing nation in the Jewish homeland.
The World Jewish Congress launched the Global Hatikvah Project to bring communities together from the four corners of the world to sing “Hatikvah” in support of Israel’s 70th anniversary.
The project was a smashing success and this video, with 50 nations singing together, is not to be missed!
