Welcoming US Speaker Nancy Pelosi to the Fifth World Holocaust Forum, which he described as arguably the largest international event in Israel’s history, Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein said the State of Israel would likely not be the same without its strong relationship with the United States.
Pelosi is among 46 world leaders who arrived in Jerusalem this week for the event at the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial Museum, marking the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau death camp.
Pelosi was accompanied by six members of Congress, including Democrats and Republicans.
