On December 29th, South Africa filed a case with the International Court of Justice against Israel, accusing it of committing genocide. The case has caused outrage worldwide for its unfounded accusation being leveled at Israel.
According to the United Nations, the Palestinian population has skyrocketed from 1.1 million in 1960 to 5.1 million in 2023. If Israel is committing genocide, it’s doing a terrible job.
Other reasons, such as medical care given to Palestinians, humanitarian aid facilitated by Israel, and work opportunities given to Gazans, point the finger away from genocide.
