The story follows the events of an IDF combat medic who rallied his unit as Hamas terrorists attempted to breach an IDF base. He battled throughout the base, narrowly missed getting blown up by an RPG, eliminated terrorists, and reached his wounded friends.
His friends were in varied states of injury, and he was assigned to sustain the breathing of a soldier who lost half his jaw. He stayed 6 hours with them until rescue helicopters came and evacuated the wounded.
His fellow soldier unfortunately succumbed to his injuries 20 days later, but he’s staying strong, saying ‘Our job is not to let them down.’
