The Oketz division of the Israeli Defense Forces is comprised entirely of Israel’s specially trained canine soldiers and their combat-ready handlers.
A very special aspect of the Oketz Search and Rescue team is that it is comprised exclusively of female combat soldiers.
Each of these amazing women must complete a full year of training, including a challenging commando course, before being accepted into this elite unit and paired with a special pup.
