Israel’s ambassador to the UN, holding a bible, blasted the UN Security Council for its latest anti-Israel resolution, denying 3,000 years of Jewish history in the Land of Israel.
The UN Security Council vote in favor of an anti-Israel resolution is the peak of hypocrisy, Israeli Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon declared.
Hundreds of thousands are being massacred in Syria, yet efforts are being wasted on condemning the democratic state of Israel for building homes in the historic homeland of the Jewish people, Danon said, addressing the council on Friday, after the vote.
The council, he continued, voted no to negotiations, no to progress no to a chance for a better lives for Palestinians and Israelis, and no to peace.
Yet the Jews overcame the evil decrees during the time of the Maccabees, and they will overcome today, he stated, holding a bible in his hand.
