The war being fought on Israel’s north and south border is affecting the crops and farms of hundreds of Israelis who provide the country with cheese, olives, milk, and other vital produce.

The Schwartz Family Farm continues to run despite the evacuation of nearly everyone from his community. Daily attacks forced the farm to rethink its business, as goats and other animals stopped producing their usual quota.

Under rocket and drone fire, the farm stays strong and tries to produce as much cheese as possible. He voluntarily stepped up and served in the IDF reserves and is making the best of the unnerving situation.
