October 7th brought many realizations, but one that stands out is medical preparedness. Medical professionals understood that the lack of simple equipment could endanger many lives, and save even more if dealt with correctly.
Along came Samaritans Purse, an organization ready to help. It distributed thousands of kits to classrooms, local clinics, and professionals. Kits were also included with training for mass casualty events.
This donation will save many lives and change the ability of medical personnel to give and sustain lifesaving treatment.
