Former US President Bill Clinton signed a deal with the rogue North Korean regime in 1994 that supposedly froze that terror-sponsoring state’s nuclear program.
In exchange, the US agreed to fund the construction of two light-water nuclear reactors in North Korea, to provide them with 500,000 tons of heavy fuel annually at no cost, and to end sanctions against them.
North Korea accepted the gifts of nuclear reactors and heavy fuel, but continued their nuclear program while also developing ballistic missile systems.
