Turkish President Erdogan said it was unacceptable for Ankara to be banned from developing nuclear arms while Israel allegedly has such weapons.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan questioned Israel’s right to possess nuclear weapons while Turkey does not have them, reports i24 News.

He called out Israel for using its unconfirmed nuclear arsenal to “scare” other nations.

Although Israel has maintained a policy of ambiguity regarding its own stock of nuclear warheads, the Turkish leader, who aligns itself closer to Iran than to Israel and the US, said that due to Israel’s nuclear capabilities, “no one can touch them.”
