While it’s hard to find an Israeli who doesn’t like hummus, it’s even harder to get Israelis to agree on where the BEST hummus can be found in the Holy Land.
If there’s one thing that all is Israelis love, it’s that taste of home in a good bowl of hummus which is often eaten for every meal of the day. Hummus is a spread or dip made with chickpeas, olive oil, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, and salt. Sometimes it has other added ingredients and toppings, like red pepper or pine nuts.
