What are the implications of UN Security Council Resolution 2334, which condemns Israeli “settlements” in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria as a “flagrant violation of international law?”
The Western Wall, or the Kotel, located in the Old City of Jerusalem, the eternal Jewish capital, was built about 1,000 years before Islam even began and is part of the Temple Mount, Judaism’s holiest site.
With the passing last month of the anti-Israel resolution, however, the Western Wall is now considered an “illegal settlement,” and any Israeli activity there is a “flagrant violation of international law.”
Therefore, Israelis praying at the Kotel must be war criminals, deserving of death or imprisonment.
