If a former Iranian lawmaker is to be believed, the Iran nuclear agreement might have been an even worse bargain than the “horrible” deal it was deemed by Obama’s successor, Donald Trump.

Former Iranian MP Alireza Zakani recently discussed the events surrounding the Obama administration’s decision to hand over a total of $1.7 billion to Iran to push through the 2016 nuclear, $400 million of which were reportedly delivered in cash.

According to Zakani, Iran negotiated only the least important of four issues on the table, and was permitted to walk away with over a billion and a half dollars without giving an inch on the other three.
