Iraqi political analyst Alaa Al-Noushou’ said that he supports normalization with Israel if this means restoring Iraqi sovereignty and liberating the country from American, Iranian, and Turkish occupation.
Normalization with Israel could lead to security and stability for Iraq and would allow the Iraqi people to live with dignity like the people of the UAE or Saudi Arabia, he surmised.
While the Palestinian cause has always been important to the Iraqis, Baghdad today is worse off than Gaza, he said.
