[WEBINAR] Talking Donkeys? Animals in the Torah are not just Monkey Business!

The Torah portion of “Balak” (Numbers 22:2–25:9) tells us about evil king and prophet, Balak and Bilaam, who set out to curse the Jewish people.

While Bilaam was riding his donkey on the way to do his evil deed, the donkey was suddenly prevented from continuing due to an angel blocking the road.

Bilaam gets angry that his donkey is not proceeding and hits the donkey in anger. The donkey then opens its mouth and a dialogue begins.

Rabbi Enkin’s fun and interesting webinar about animals in the Bible will teach you how Judaism views these living but (usually) speechless creatures and what our responsibility is towards them.
