Rabbi Enkin explores the woman’s role in Jewish law and practice, including in the home, synagogue, school, workplace, the court system and so much more.

The Torah portion of “Pinchas” (Numbers 25:10–30:1), informs us about the daughters of Tzelafchad, 5 sisters whose father died and left behind no sons.

The girls wanted to inherit their father’s portion of land, in the absence of male heirs.

Moses, unsure of how to rule, turned to God who declared that the girls do indeed receive their father’s land, setting the precedent for women’s rights of inheritance.

Rabbi Enkin explores the woman’s role in Jewish law and practice, including in the home, synagogue, school, workplace, court system and so much more. Men are invited too!
