A shocking and dangerous escalation of antisemitic extremism unfolded at Barnard College and Columbia University when a pro-Palestinian mob stormed an administrative building, assaulted a staff member, vandalized property, and disrupted campus operations—all while administrators at both institutions failed to take decisive action.

Masked activists carrying drums and Palestinian flags took over Milbank Hall at Barnard, blocking hallways, harassing security personnel, and demanding amnesty for students expelled for antisemitic disruptions.

The protesters scrawled hate-filled graffiti, including “F— Barnard,” and encouraged unauthorized individuals to join them on campus.

One staff member was physically attacked and required hospitalization. This violent takeover is just the latest example of the dangerous, antisemitic climate at both Barnard and Columbia.

For months, Jewish students at Columbia and Barnard have faced relentless intimidation, harassment, and outright violence. Yet instead of enforcing their own rules, administrators have repeatedly caved to radical protesters.

The fact that these extremists were met with negotiations instead of consequences is a disgrace. This failure of leadership puts all students at risk and emboldens further aggression.

Barnard and Columbia must act now: Expelled students must remain expelled. Masked mobs cannot be allowed to terrorize campuses without consequence. The schools must implement real safety measures, including banning face coverings at protests, reinstating pro-Israel faculty members targeted for their views, and holding violent agitators accountable.
