As attacks against Jewish people intensify globally, it is crucial that we stand in solidarity against the surge of antisemitic violence.
Across Europe and the United States, shocking assaults are targeting Jews simply for their identity—a chilling reminder of darker times in our shared history.
The recent wave of assaults in Brooklyn, including the slapping of a young boy and an attempted kidnapping, echoes incidents that many thought were buried with the past.

Recently, in Amsterdam, Jewish supporters of Maccabi Tel Aviv faced an orchestrated assault that can only be described as a modern-day pogrom. Masked mobs ambushed and hunted down Jewish fans as they left a soccer match, with brutal attacks escalating into a violent street rampage. Israelis were forced to flee, with some hiding or even jumping into canals to escape.
This shocking scene unfolded nearly 86 years to the day after Kristallnacht, a night when Nazi-led mobs targeted Jewish homes, businesses, and places of worship in 1938.
This resurgence of open hostility toward Jewish people extends beyond Europe. In The U.S, Jewish students on college campuses are increasingly subjected to harassment, intimidation, and verbal assaults.
What we are witnessing is not a series of isolated events but a movement of organized antisemitic aggression.
The Holocaust survivor mantra, “Never Again,” must remain a call to action—a demand that we resist any attempt to drive Jews into hiding or silence.
We cannot stand by while antisemitism rises unchecked. Today, we must demand justice and protection for Jewish communities, from Brooklyn to Amsterdam and beyond.
