Legendary rock band Guns N’ Roses will hold a concert in Tel Aviv’s HaYarkon Park in July next year as part of its “Not in This Lifetime” tour.
Celebrated rock band Guns N’ Roses will rock Tel Aviv in July 2017 at the massive HaYarkon Park venue.
This will be the band’s second performance in the Holy Land after it held a concert in 1993, in front-man Axl Rose’s third appearance, after his 2012 solo concert.
The concert in Tel Aviv as part of the band’s “Not in This Lifetime” tour, the first including the original band members in 23 years.
Guns N’ Roses is an American hard rock band from Los Angeles formed in 1985.
The band has released six studio albums, accumulating sales of more than 100 million records worldwide, including shipments of 45 million in the United States, making Guns N’ Roses one of the world’s best-selling bands of all time.
Guns N’ Roses is the latest front-line band to announce it will perform in Israel.
Aerosmith announced its 2017 concert in Tel Aviv earlier this month and so did Justin Bieber, and there are reports of discussions underway with Britney Spears for a summer gig.
The Chemical Brothers held a fabulous concert in Israel earlier this month, despite pressure by anti-Israel activist Roger Waters to cancel their concert in Israel.
Guns N’ Roses will join a long list of prestigious performers who have performed in Israel in 2016, including Elton John, Deep Purple, Sia, the Chemical Brothers, Julio Iglesias, Megadeth and the Scorpions.
