ISIS continues to rampage through Iraq and Syria practically unchecked. Among the latest victims were 150 women who refused to submit to their demands.

The Islamic State (IS or ISIS) terror organization continues to commit atrocities throughout Syria and Iraq, including one of the latest horrific incidents in which 150 women were massacred in Iraq because they refused to submit to the demands of the terrorists and “marry” them, Israel’s NRG reports.

The human rights office in Iraq reports that according to information from terrorists in Fallujah, the women were buried in a mass grave in one of the city’s neighborhoods.

“At least 150 women, some of them pregnant, were executed in Fallujah by Abu Anas al-Liby after they refused “Jihad marriage,” the statement read. “Many families were forced to flee the city after receiving threats on their lives,” and many children died.

Al-Jazeera reports that another mass grave containing ISIS victims was discovered in Syria. Quoting a monitoring group, the report states that 230 bodies were found by the victims’ relatives in Syria’s Deir al-Zor province.

This latest discovery brings the number of members of the al-Sheitaat tribe killed by ISIS to more than 900, the report says.

Also, according to the report, the “vast majority” of the victims were civilians and many of them were executed in cold blood after the tribe rose up against ISIS.

“This is a message from Daesh (ISIS) that if there is any attempt at revenge, your fate will be the same as your relatives,” Omar Abu Layla, a spokesman for the Free Syrian Army (FSA), told Al-Jazeera.

Photos of the alleged mass grave, shared by Abu Layla and others on social media, show decaying bodies and bones covered in dust and dirt lying amid rocks and sand, Al-Jazeera reports. The report adds that many of the victims were executed by beheading.

Fighting Back Against ISIS

Iraqi forces have been trying to ward of the ISIS onslaught, NRG reports. They launched in attack on Ramadi, the capital of the Anbar province.

“Iraqi security forces, including the army and police, supported by tribal warriors, killed 13 ISIS members, and seven others surrendered,” the Anbar police commander stated.  A suicide terrorist reportedly approached the Iraqi forces and was shot. His deadly charge did not cause any harm.

Simultaneously, the U.S. led coalition is continuing its attacks on ISIS targets throughout Iraq, but civilians fear they may be hurt in these attacks. “The residents of Mosul feel that their lives are in danger, because of the U.S.-led coalition’s airstrikes which are focused on the city. The residents are so fearful that they have begun to dig defense ditches around the city,” the Mosul police commander said.
